1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LegalOps ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

LegalOps is a multi-tenant SaaS legal operations platform for law firms. The Platform provides matter management, billing, finance, HR, and document management capabilities.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Upload malicious files or content
  • Interfere with the Platform's operation or security
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Use the Platform to store or transmit content that violates third-party rights

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Platform. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. Each firm's data is isolated and not accessible by other firms or the platform operator.

6. Subscription and Payment

Access to the Platform is subject to your subscription plan. Plans define usage limits including users, matters, clients, and storage. Failure to maintain an active subscription may result in restricted access after a grace period.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may request account deletion at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
